Excellent explanation of the evolution of aerial firefighting in Australia and what we appear to have forgotten in the States. The intrinsic value of actual Initial Attack; coordination; shared resources based on risk assessment between agencies; the possibly of accountability, taking responsibility and analyzing our mistakes, as opposed to placing blame. Good on you mate!
